Sweat it out for charity: BROLympics 2019

March 28, 2019

ONE Fitness Training LOVES to LOVE our community, and each year we try to give back to a good cause.  Since we opened three years ago, we've raised thousands of dollars for charities like Meals on Wheels, Duke Children's Hospital, and Orange County Rape Crisis Center,  just to name a few!

This year, we've decided to do something EXCITING that we've never done before: a team competition called the BROLympics! Maybe you didn't know this, but you've been training for this event since you joined our gym.

You see, the BROLympics is a 6 category event based on exercises and challenges that you've become familiar with at ONE.  Your team will use your skills in HIIT, strength, and endurance challenges in a quest to become the ultimate BROLympics Champion!

The first step is acquiring your team of three. If you want a trainer to be on your team, we can do that too (while supplies last haha). Then, your team will choose your BROLympics apparel color, the charity that you're playing for, and a team captain.  You'll then work with your team captain to determine which events each team member will compete in, and you're off to the races! *extra fee applies for having a trainer as a team member - the extra fee is used to cover the trainer's registration fee.

This event will take place at 8am on May 4th.  Each competitor will receive a swag bag, snacks, lunch, and a competitor tank, tee, or muscle shirt. The team with the highest score will be deemed the BROLympics champion and will choose the beneficiary of the money raised by the event [Durham ASPCA, UNC Children's Hospital, or MS Society].
